Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
At Caring And Wellness Hospice Care, we understand that comfort, safety, and peace of mind are essential for both patients and their families. Our Durable Medical Equipment (DME) services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure every patient has access to the equipment needed to remain comfortable at home.
Our dedicated team coordinates the prompt delivery, setup, and maintenance of medical equipment, helping make the transition to home hospice care as smooth and stress-free as possible. From hospital beds and oxygen equipment to wheelchairs, walkers, bedside commodes, and other specialized supplies, we ensure that every piece of equipment is carefully inspected, tested, and ready for use.
Our experienced technicians are available around the clock to provide support, troubleshoot equipment concerns, and respond quickly to urgent needs. We work closely with our clinical team to ensure patients receive the right equipment at the right time, allowing them to focus on comfort, dignity, and quality of life while remaining in the familiar surroundings of home.
As part of your care, we provide the durable medical equipment your hospice plan of care may call for. The specific items furnished are based on your physician's orders and your individualized plan of care, and are delivered, set up, serviced, and maintained at no cost to you. Equipment may include:
Respiratory and Oxygen
- Oxygen and oxygen delivery devices (concentrators, portable tanks, tubing, and cannulas)
- High-flow oxygen therapy
